Product application

The microorganisms used for antibiotics are aerobic bacteria, and chlorine (air) must be continuously provided during the culture process. Otherwise, microorganisms cannot grow and synthesize antibiotics better. Therefore, the eccentricity and rotation speed of the shaker are one of the important factors affecting the growth of microorganisms and the synthesis of antibiotics. So far, the launch of the shaker has created better experimental conditions for the research and application of biopharmaceuticals in China,increased the eccentricity of the shaker, and improved the "supply amount" of oxygen in the culture process and the "dissolved oxygen" in the culture solution more effectively than increasing the rotation speed.

For example, in the experiment of 50ml culture medium in a 500ml triangular flask, the shaker with an ccentricity of 25mm can make the rotating liquid level of the culture solution reach 6-6.2cm under the condition of 220-250rm, which makes the culture solution form a layer around the flask wall, which significantly increases the gas-liquid contact area, thus improving the "intake" speed of the culture solution for CO2 in the air and the removal speed of CO2. However, when the eccentricity is 13mm, the liquid level of the culture medium is only 4-4.2cm at 300rm, and the liquid level is about 5cm at 350rpm. Therefore, when using small eccentricity to cultivate microorganisms, we can only improve the oxygen intake rate by reducing the loading capacity and raising the rotating speed too high. Its disadvantage is that when the loading capacity is too small and the culture time is too long, the water volatilization in the culture solution is too large, which causes the culture solution to be too viscous and the decrease of dissolved argon. However, it is very difficult to improve the "argon intake" rate by raising the rotating speed too high (above 300rpm). Therefore, the launch of the shaker completely solved this problem.
